Let's talk about Bengali, shall we?

It is hard to find a Bengali interested to talk about Bengali these days. Yet some corns are to be puffed when you have time they say. Thus born an old Bengal blog.

The purpose of this blog is to talk about the language Bangla, officially knows as Bengali worldwide.

Bengali or Bangla is assumed a language of more or less a thousand-year tradition and development. Yet no definitive grammar of the language is available to recognize. A single primer is yet born for the actual or pragmatic form of the language. Due to the Sanskritizing Colonization, the written form of the language is yet too hard to perceive the actual realization of the spoken form. 

We will try to talk about the following aspects in coming days:
  • Bengali sounds 
  • Ṭọṭshọmo: the fake-Sanskrit or distorted Indic words 
  • Ọrḍho-Ṭọṭshọmo: the distorted Sanskrit words 
  • Ṭọṭṿọbo or naturalized Sanskrit Indic words 
  • Shaḍhu Ṿasha: either not-Bengali or hardly-Bengali (like Brojobuli)
  • Bengali letters: typical, historical and empirical 
  • Transliteration of Bengali into English and other European languages 
  • IPA transcription of Bengali sounds 
  • Lokayon: the naturalization of borrowings 
  • The obstacles of de-Sanskritization or decolonization of pragmatic Bengali 
  • The basic facets of the struggle "the Bengali of the people" fighting for over two centuries

The advancement of Linguistics has proven that Sanskrit is not the mother to the languages of Bengals as the origin and Prakrit (or Prokriṭo ) is to be acknowledged with respect.
